Sponsorship for the 1st Female to Bowl a 300 Game at the Open Nationals

TBNZ has gratefully accepted an offer of $1,000 from Janet and Graham Parkins as sponsorship for the first female to bowl a 300 game at this year’s Open National Championships to be held in Tauranga over Queen’s Birthday weekend.

The only condition is that the game is witnessed by a tournament committee member from the 8th frame onwards.

Hopefully this should provide a little extra incentive for the ladies.

As a point of interest, the last female to bowl a 300 game was Megan Fletcher back in April 2005.
